Outreach

Many people struggling with food insecurity are unaware of available resources. Expanding Our Reach bridges this gap by actively connecting individuals and families with the food assistance programs they qualify for.

Activities:

• Community Outreach Events: We organize events in under-served neighborhoods, partnering with local organizations and government agencies. Volunteers provide information on food pantries, meal programs, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) application assistance, and other resources.
• Mobile Food Pantry: We operate a mobile pantry that brings essential groceries directly to hard-to-reach communities, eliminating transportation barriers to food access.
• Multilingual Outreach Materials: We create flyers, brochures, and social media content in multiple languages to ensure clear communication and inclusivity.

Impact:

Expanding Our Reach empowers individuals to navigate the complex network of food assistance programs. By raising awareness and removing barriers, we connect more people to the resources they need to thrive.
